Amal Clooney

Amal Clooney, born Amal Ramzi Alamuddin is an English-Lebanese barrister, human rights activist, philanthropist and human rights advocate. She is a graduate of Oxford University School of Law and New York University School of Law. Her lengthy career has been praised internationally for her achievements in international law as well as in the area that deals with human rights. The clients she has worked with include the people of Armenia that is fighting against the Turkish government over the acknowledgement and apology for the Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney became engaged to and later married American actor George Clooney in 2014 instantly becoming a well-known name in the world of popular media. Prior to that, the actress was well-known for her ability to successfully represent her clients before courts and earned a good name. The job she has is to represent multinational firms in negotiations and court cases regarding government regulations, in addition to social justice or human rights. She is now a barrister which is a kind of attorney in British the courts.
